Chronic pain and Exercise.

An important "shift" that you need to learn when I start working with you to get rid of Chronic Pain symptoms, is that you really need to understand is, how important your behavior is and what effect it has on your body.

You simply cannot heal from a starting point of impatience, fixes, forcing or must heal.

The reason women come to see me is because they simply don't understand that why when they force into doing Pilates or Yoga it can actually cause more pain in their body than it relieves.

Chronic pain is usually caused by Trigger points in our muscles. Trigger Points are most often caused by too much tension on the muscles and veins (stress, frustration, worries), so the blood can't circulate properly and there is a shortage of oxygen in the body. This creates hidden Trigger points throughout the body. Only some points hurt more than others.

If your body is full of trigger points. And you are going to force your body, whether it is Pilates, Yoga or any other sport. That you are entering a minefield. Those hidden" Trigger points will be activated. And your body will simply block.

It is not because of exercise in itself, but because of the unhealthy constant pressure on your body caused by stress.

However, you can do MindBody exercises to calm the nervusvagus system and bring your body into the Flow in a natural way. The body knows what to do to heal, the mind does not.
